Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Review

Ok, so school is just around the corner, which basically means I”m gonna have a lot of expenses to worry about :(( I still want to try to maintain this blog as best I can though, and try to be consistent with my posts despite how hectic my life is gonna get. My aim is to get one post up every week. I’m not gonna be spending a lot of money on makeup like I did over the summer. However I do plan on making some new purchases here and there because let’s get real; I don’t think I’d be able to restrain myself. It’s always so exciting trying on new products, and purchasing prodcuts that I’ve been drooling over for so long.

Speaking of products.. I made a trip to Sephora a couple days ago and got a sample of a foundation that I’ve been dying to try out. I’ve heard amazing things about the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation that’s oil free. Anyways, instead splurging on buying the entire bottle, I opted to get a sample to see how it works with my skin. When I first applied this foundation, I fell in love.. With only a light layer on I got amazing coverage, and it didn’t feel heavy on my skin whatsoever. Quite the contrary, it felt very natural despite how full coverage it is. If you go read the description of the foundation on the sephora website, it does such an accurate job of depicting what the foundation looks and feels like. Anyways, I can’t stop saying enough good things about this foundation. In terms of the longevity of this foundation, I felt like it wore really well throughout the day & I didn’t have any issues with it drying up or anuthing. I really really want to purchase it, but I think I will hold off for a bit. I don’t own any high end foundation, so this would be my first. The price is C$49 for those of you who are wondering. Let me know what you guys think of this product if you’ve used it before, or let me know if this is on you wishlist just like me 🙂

It comes in 18 different shades as far as I know, so it won't be difficult matching a colour perfectly to your skin tone.

Here's how it looks after I applied a very light layer to my face. You can definitely build it up some more, and get that full-coverage look. My shade is Ivory.
